Cheap construction is good for men

Bought this less than 2 months ago and only got to wear it a month ago. The soles are already falling off. It's quite funny that the sole starts to fall off after about a month of wear. Don't think you will live a long life in these shoes. Spend a little less so after the few uses I plan on throwing them out if they fall apart. See attached photos, the bottom is mostly perfect but the sole is already falling off.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Boots Merrell worth the money

I wear these boots to work everyday and walk on concrete 6-7 hours a day and these boots are some of the best I've had. They are lightweight and offer comfortable foot support with optional orthopedic insoles. I tried athletic shoes that were almost the same price, they didn't offer the support and comfort that these Merrell Moab 2 do. Do your feet a favor and gift them Merrell boots or shoes.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great boot, approved by Mount Whitney!

Bought for Mount Whitney, to be honest I was unprepared and blessed with these boots. I put them on the day before the walk to make sure they fit and took them off after 10 minutes. The next time I wore them with thick wool socks was at 3am on a hike. They rocked all the way, others complained their legs were sore and sore after 6-10 hours, they kept them comfortable throughout the hike! We started at 4am and ended at 8:30pm. We didn't do anything all day except pull them a little tighter. I…

The description is misleading and they broke after two months

When you read the description of these boots you think you are getting a good pair of walking shoes; However, this is far from the experience I had with them. The first thing to break was the tip holder (circled in blue). I was going to send them back at the time but decided to bypass that loop, which worked for a while. The second and more acute problem is the tear that has formed between the sole and the fabric. I was so excited at that moment. I've had better boots that I paid a lot less…

The sole came off after less than an hour of walking!

I bought this pair just before the pandemic started so I haven't had time to use them until now. This is the first time you use it. It broke after an hour of running. And it wasn't even a wet or difficult walk. Common easy terrain. You must be joking, Merrel! The worst thing is that I didn't use ale before and now I've just lost my Mi-Hey because I can't get it back. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Slightly torn

  • 100% suede and mesh
Cons
  • Negative is present

My original MOABs lasted me almost 3 years so I figured 2 would be the same or close enough. I received them on June 1st and now on July 21st, the soles of both are coming off. The one on the right drops off significantly, the one on the left has just started. This is the end of MOAB One, by the way. I'll buy some shoe goo, but I didn't have to. I expected more from a company like Merrell. I have bought several pairs of shoes from her and have always been very satisfied. Nonetheless, they are…

Extensively tested. on Hiking Shoes

I bought the Merrill Moab 2 Vent Mid hiking shoes because I thought they were perfect for hiking the Grand Canyon. The boots didn't actually need to be broken in, but I didn't know that and wore them almost every day for about 6 weeks to get fit for the canyon. The boots became so untied that I had to lace them up fairly tightly to keep my toes from catching on the long sections of descent. Before going to the Canyon, I replaced the Merrill insoles with aftermarket insoles and baked them in the
