Really bad quality is good for me

We bought these shoes on September 22, 2022 for my 7 year old son. He wears them quite normally, nothing unusual for a kid that age, not even every day, and they are completely worn out, almost destroyed (sole, grip, all details.) Really disappointed, especially from a brand as well known as Merrell. And I can't even ask for a refund or reimbursement through Revain.

Pros
  • Protects feet from stones, thorns and other hazards
Cons
  • Soles are not easy to care for

Return NOT FREE

Pros: We just received the shoes and my son seems to love them! Durability remains to be seen. Cons: I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure which would fit my son. Returns through Revain are usually free, but I'm charged over $5 to return a pair. boo

Pros
  • gym
Cons
  • Too heavy

small - my new rating

They look small. It was very difficult to return. The lighter green part seemed fake/cheap compared to the darker green. Problem with return and loss of money for shipping.

Pros
  • Comfortable design for prolonged wear
Cons
  • The insole is not removable

Muycomodos, for Tallan Enormous

I bought my son a 36, they're just a little shorter on the inside than my adult 38 Trail Glove. They are therefore still a few millimeters too long for my son. What I like: they are a bit wider than my Trail Glove.

Pros
  • Easy to clean with a damp cloth
Cons
  • Sand and dirt always get into your shoes

Disintegrating in my mind

The shoes were great until I noticed they were falling apart about 3 months after purchase. My son wears them every day. As you can see they seemed to be in great shape except for the split at the base. I'm definitely disappointed that the workmanship wasn't better with children's shoes.

Pros
  • Flexible yet durable
Cons
  • It lacks breathability

The socks fell apart after a month

These shoes are junk. My son has been wearing these shoes since Christmas 2022 and last week I finally got him to give them up after noticing how cracked they looked. I wish I had contacted Revain last week for a refund. Admit it's too late.

Pros
  • Fantastic calzado. Mi hija va encantada con ellas.
Cons
  • The tongue of the shoe slips to the side on the foot

Do not buy....: my rating

We bought these sneakers on April 18th. Today is May 28th and they are ready. My 10 year old has worn them 15 times and they are already falling apart. He has had similar Merrells sandals for 3 years and they are still fine. I do not understand.

Pros
  • After almost 2 months of normal use, the sole is already coming loose. Really a no-go for the price
Cons
  • This size does not fit

Don't buy if you don't want to hurt your sons feet.

Terribly uncomfortable. Most of his shoes are barefoot which caused my son's feet to hurt a lot. Also, Merrell has some of the worst customer service representatives I've ever encountered. Called to get shoes which are causing pain in my son's feet and hung up. I am very disappointed in this company.

Pros
  • Provides excellent arch support
Cons
  • Tear-resistant parts of the toe begin to tear

Don de Calidad Malicima

The shoes are true to size and fit well. They are best used as casual/dressy shoes; They don't last very long if you use them to hit the ball in the playground. For the price I wish they would have lasted more than six months but they are good and comfortable.

Pros
  • Excellent value for money and quality
Cons
  • Doesn't provide enough warmth in cold weather

Malísimas o venían defectuosas

Soft, wide and flexible. Matches the truth. They look very stylish my boy likes them but have been wearing them for 3 months and the elastic is moving away from the toe. Glued once and now peeled off again and the boots are falling apart all the way at the front. Sometimes they get wet in the school yard or in the rain, but I hope the shoes won't fall apart in the rain.

Pros
  • Ideal for hiking, camping and exploring nature
Cons
  • Difficulty tying shoelaces tightly

Not so great. the best in my rating

Unfortunately, despite the high price, these shoes don't last long. We bought them at the end of April and now it's mid-September and my two children have reported to me that the soles are coming off the shoes. I have a feeling a $55 pair of sneakers should last a lot longer than 4 1/2 months.

Pros
  • High quality support shoes
Cons
  • They were too tight for my child to even try on. I had to send them back.

Mala Kalidad fake

My son almost always wears barefoot shoes, but I didn't want to spend that much money for sports once a week. His Merrell Trail Glove is a real alternative. They are used by us for ball sports in the hall.

Pros
  • A la semana el plastico superior i está despegado y dañado. Suela Despegada.
Cons
  • Shoes become slippery when wet

Buena Zapatilla minimalist

great product Sole festers as expected with barefoot products. Bought way too big for us, wait another year before we can use it. Shipping was much quicker than expected - just a week from the UK.

Pros
  • Excellent and comfortable fit. Good grip sole.
Cons
  • An alternative locking system can be difficult to use

Fall apart within a month.

I expected a lot more from the Merrell brand. Worn normally for a 6 year old boy and the shoes fell apart after a few months. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • No han durado ni un mes. Recibidas el March 23, November 11.
Cons
  • The sole is not slippery

Revainrating 1 out of 5

fell apart after a few months

My son loved these shoes and liked the minimalist aspect but they are of terrible quality and fell apart after only a few months. Very disappointed with the quality and lack of care from the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Non-slip sole for safety when hiking
Cons
  • Tends to tear tissue

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Minimalism and precision

Look as expected with a very lightweight design. They have a wider fit which is just what we needed for my 9 year old son. He wears them like school shoes. He's only worn them a couple of times as school is currently closed so not sure about durability.

Pros
  • Perfect for active kids who love the great outdoors.
Cons
  • Design is not universal

Fell apart after 2 weeks

We liked the barefoot aspect and thought the Merrell shoes were worth the premium price. They fell apart 2 weeks after purchase. I'm so upset that I spent $50 so they would last less than a $15 pair of shoes. Such a divorce. Don't buy this.

Pros
  • Trusted brand with a proven track record of quality
Cons
  • Circular markings on the shoe sole are beginning to wear out
