Great snowshoes: my review

My 9 year old loves these boots. We live in a part of Idaho that gets several feet of snow a year. It goes without saying that these boots are versatile. He says they're light enough that he can still run fast and his feet stay dry. He didn't complain about cold feet.

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • Additional features are missing

Plastic waste according to my rating.

These boots don't deserve to have Merrill's name on them. They have little to no insulation and the bottom half is made of hard plastic rather than flexible rubber. These boots are not even close to worth the price.

Pros
  • They fit my preschooler well and kept my feet warm and dry on 20 degree Fahrenheit days in the snow!
Cons
  • Although the boots come in different sizes, they are only suitable for toddlers, which means older children and teenagers will not be able to wear them.

Uncomfortable in my rating

The shoes are very light, which is great. However, there are no insoles in these shoes. The boots are lined with soft material on the inside. Through the lining on which the foot rests, you can feel the firm and rough structure of the shoe. I can't believe these shoes were designed so badly. Other insoles cannot be used in this shoe as they become too narrow and the foot does not have enough space. I am very disappointed and am sending it back.

Pros
  • Same as described
Cons
  • If it's Merrill, then it's crap! Everything about them looks wrong.

Love this my opinion

They fit my son perfectly when playing and walking in the snow. I like that they have a zip at the top to keep the snow out. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Good work! Perfect fit, never leaks, love them
Cons
  • Expensive: Merrell Kid's Snow Quest Lite 3.0 waterproof toddler 5M boots are quite expensive, making them unaffordable for some families on a more limited budget.

Great fit, comfortable

These fit great. Boots are of good quality and very warm. You'll stay dry while playing in the snow! I would order them again! My daughter loves her.

Pros
  • I didn't like that there was no velcro at the top to protect against snow.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Practical: my rating

We have so much snow and my son wears boots to school all day. When we got the boots he was so excited about the warm indoor showers. Waterproof, warm, his favorite pair at the moment.

Pros
  • bought as a gift.
Cons
  • The boots are durable and waterproof, but that means they can be heavier and bulkier for small children to wear and walk in comfortably.
