🔒 50 Gold Metal Pin Keepers Backs - Locking Pinbacks (No Tool Needed) Review

In theory it's great. The packaging is really pretty and they're easy to install, but the failure rate of the two sets I bought was high. The upper spring-loaded head bounced off several times, requiring the rear one to be removed with pliers, damaging the pins in the process. Several times, the seat backs, shown in the "closed" position, spontaneously rebounded. The idea is great, but the execution is lame.

These pins are AMAZING. I use them to attach the pins to my daughter's scout vest and none of them have ever fallen out. The backs of the needles that come with the Girl Scout needles in the Girl Scout Shop are very fragile and I had to keep buying multiple needles as the backs kept falling out and we lost needles but since I put all the back needles through these replaced, they never fell out again. Edited: With further use I noticed that they are difficult to remove if the stylus is pressed too hard. If you just press it until it clicks, they get a lot better. I will change my rating from 3 to 4 stars as they are still more difficult than I expected. I bought these to better attach the Disney pins to the straps, but the first one I put on gave me and my husband a solid 3 minutes to take it off. That doesn't seem like much, but if we tried to swap pins at Disneyland, it would take too long
