Very poor quality power and hand tools

I am disappointed in these tools. They are not strong enough for what I use need them, but I hope I can use them for other purposes.

Pros
  • 30x 2" mini metal spring clips with red rubber tips QTY OF 30 Packed
Cons

The most convenient clamps for clamps

I've used these little spring clips for decades. I always keep a few handy - a model train, kitchen, office, garage, tool box, even in my car. Useful as clips. in numerous model trains. The best zippers for closing bags of groceries - french fries, frozen vegetables, etc. - are much better than the flimsy plastic zippers sold for this purpose. Hitherto I've bought them from a big hardware store, but the offer was too good to turn it down. There are never too many of them.

Pros
  • ax. Wide Opening: 0.8"
Cons
  • Compatibility

Well, I didn't read the description carefully enough. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but in this case it's worth at least $20 and wasted four days to start my project. I've included an image for perspective for future consumers like me. But I ended up needing a few more chip clips, maybe not 30, but this buying experience gives me a good reason to invest in more snacks and improve my reading comprehension.

Pros
  • Color: silver with red rubber tips
Cons
  • Clarity

Soft Clamp - Spring Clips

I bought these to clamp bread bags, frozen vegetable bags and grocery bags in general. The size is perfect but the springs in the clips are not very strong. They do their thing but I wish they had more excitement.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Can't remember

The most practical clamps for power tools and hand tools

I have used these little spring clamps for several decades. I always have some of them handy - a model train, a kitchen, an office, a garage, a tool box, even in my car. Can be used as clips in numerous model railways. The best zip ties for sealing groceries bags - french fries, frozen vegetables, etc. - are far better than the flimsy plastic zip ties sold for this purpose. So far I've bought them from a big hardware store, but this deal was too good to pass up. There can never be too many of…

Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Low tension (not even as tight as a clothespin)

Thought I'd buy the same clips I bought from Fred Meyer which cost 0.50 cents a clip (made by Craftsman) . They look the same, but not even close. I used it to cover a makeshift greenhouse made of 3ml plastic over a raised bed. Unfortunately, the tension on them is so weak that everything fell apart in the wind (except where the stronger Craftsman clamps were attached). I bought 4 packs and want to return 3 unopened packs as I will never use them.

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • Big and bulky
