The belt turned out to be pretty much what I was hoping for, except the material of the belt isn't listed anywhere on the label. It looks like leather,” and Revain's product description says "leather” (so I was willing to pay close to $40 for it). Also, where the buckle is sewn to the belt end, there is a fairly pronounced bulge that causes the buckle to protrude when worn. Hopefully this will lessen as the "leather" stretches with wear.

I go through a metal detector 3-4 times a week in our courthouse. I stopped wearing a sling because it was very difficult for me to put it on and take it off every time I went through a metal detector. This belt works perfectly. Looks good in a suit. I have no problem working right through the metal detector without removing the bracelet. I'm not sure how well it wears but I'm happy with my purchase. My waist is 32, 36-38 is too big. Next time I order, I'll take the next smaller size.

Recently used for a round trip from Oakland to Vegas - now TSA let me pick up at every checkpoint - round trip. I explained that the belt wasn't metal, but was told that the detector it fired wasn't looking for metal, it was an "object detector" (whatever that means). Now I think it's not worth using if I need to take it off anyway as the hassle outweighs the lack of belt holes (loosens with prolonged wear etc.).

Works well. There is nothing to break, there are no holes, so it seems to last for a long time. Two years after the purchase, I check my previous rating. This is the most uncomfortable belt I have. I think it's too hard. Also, the continuous adjustment doesn't make as much sense as I thought. Belts with regular buckles and thinner leather tend to tighten a bit after wearing them for an hour as the leather stretches - I think - so why should I?
