I really wanted to be happy with this product as I had previously bought it in a candle shop under that label. However something is wrong with this and the last pound I bought. It mixes into a nice creamy thick gel but after 12 hours it really liquefies and was left in a sealed bottle and literally ripped the cap off. Great stuff! best in solvents

I used this to make bookcloth paste and it works great! I followed the online recipe, 1/8 cup MC (6 tsp is too thick (the only thing I can compare it to is the hardest jell-o jiggler you've ever seen ml) and it started to thicken quickly as well , so I added another 163.50ml of water making the total volume 400ml or about 1.70oz and it turned out to be a translucent loose gel ideal for painting on thin fabric ; such a consistency of liquid paint. I also only used tap water in case anyone is…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick instructions
