Works Perfectly With Sony XAVAX1000 Stereo

This Antenna Adapter worked great with my Sony XAVAX1000 Stereo in a 2009 Mustang that had a windshield mounted antenna.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Repair

Great for 2004 Jeep Grans Cherokee

Perfect adapter for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Allows installation of an aftermarket stereo in a Jeep with a new "click" antenna cable.

Pros
  • Great for small homes
Cons
  • I will add later

Required for modern head units

Without this adapter the radio will not be able to communicate with the head unit. Get one. The Chrysler connection is the same as the Ford connection. The angle allows you to use less space.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Long shipping

Pay attention to compatibility at the end of the connector!

Will NOT fit 2007 and later Jeep Wrangler factory radio antenna. You will need the one in the picture I posted. I'm just trying to make sure nobody else has to wait a week and a half to finish installing a radio like me.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Some issues

it doesn't fit my 2017 Jeep JK!

I don't know what the problem is. LOOKS like it should fit, but I can't get the end of the car to hook the antenna cable. It seems about 1/32 inch too big. I'm afraid I'll mess up the end of the car if I try to connect the connectors together. Hm. More research needed!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Secret

I don't know why manufacturers among other things keep making new proprietary connectors, especially when the old tried and true connector was perfect, but here we are and Chrysler did just that with the antenna connector for 2005. Dodge neon. This adapter does an excellent job of marrying reliable, interoperable, and sensible existing and industry-standard technologies with senseless, restrictive, and usually ill-conceived misunderstandings of business. I really hope Metra didn't have to pay…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
