🔌 VW/Audi Bose Integration Radio Wiring Harness 70-1787 for Metra (1993-2007) Review

I installed it on a Porsche and ended up having to swap the red and yellow wires in the outlet before my radio kept its memory. I accomplished this by inserting a paperclip next to the pen and releasing it.

So many wires this kit doesn't cover my 2001 Audi TT Concert Bose sound system! There is no rear speaker connection and even the RCA jacks are wrong! So frustrating I have to reassemble everything rendering this kit useless even though Revane said it fits my car!

No fiddling with speaker wiring as the speakers are powered from the amplifier via RCA cables. Easy installation for Porsche Boxster. However, you will need to swap the red and yellow wires if you are having memory retention issues.

Installed Android 8.0 head unit in my 2004 Audi A4 with its wiring harness to make sure the rear speakers are working. After installation, I found that the speakers in the rear doors still didn't work, but the subwoofer did work with the bookshelf amp, which uses the same amp as the rear speakers.

I have a 2003 Audi A6 and the suspension has pretty much everything you need to get the radio to boot up . But for the amp to work, you need to cut some wires for your speakers to turn on. But I don't recommend this harness if you don't know how to install radios. I'm new to all this and it took me a good week to research and figure out how to install everything. I will say the more money you can spend on the suspension the easier it will be for you to fit the radio etc.

Item as described. The connection is a bit flimsy, but will definitely work. Unfortunately, the product received was ordered based on all the information about my vehicle (i.e. the factory setting of the radio). In most cases this will be true as long as there is enough information. Not in this case. The item didn't work and I ended up ordering the right tuning for my car from Crutchfield! When I bought this and hooked it up to my 2000 Audi A4 with Bose stereo there was no sound. I was disappointed to say the least. After checking and double checking my wiring, I found that the wiring harness was not assembled properly. The pins for the pre-out were in the wrong place on the audio side of the wire harness. I had to take them out and put them back in the right places in the red harness for them to work properly. It's not that bad if you have the right tools, but it still hurts…

This company is falsely promoting this product, it doesn't even come anywhere near my car. The photos don't show the entire suspension, and this is where the misinformation begins. What's worse than waiting 4 days to find out the trailer you ordered isn't the right one? The company makes you pay for the return shipping, claiming it's my fault it doesn't fit. Apparently my car info is uploaded to Revain, also the description says it's the correct wiring harness but it's not, buyer error here…

I wasn't sure at this point if that meant I had an OEM subwoofer, but I was able to verify this when troubleshooting. This version of Symphony has a subwoofer, so I assumed I would follow the directions for "Amplified w/Bose". I actually did the opposite, following the no-amp instructions without using the RCA jacks on the new Pioneer head unit.
