I was able to sit at my kitchen table and plug in the new Clarion head unit, all wire colors matched Clarion's colors right from the start, making it easy to connect. I don't see any reason why they don't have a standard connector on the other end (hey, worst case scenario you can just cut it off!). You will need to unsolder the connectors from the ones that came with your head unit. I was also a bit confused about one of the color codes that didn't quite match the standard plugs. Purchased for aftermarket fitment on a 2003 Nissan Xterra SE 4X4 that had a factory Rockford Fosgate premium grille with subwoofer.
