Not Suitable for Lighting and Electrical

Whilst this product is described as suitable for 1995 Pontiac Sunfire vehicles, this is clearly not the case. When installed in a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire, not only are the included screws just large enough not to fit through the holes, but worse, the door panel is fully seated an inch short of the clips holding the panel to the door the speaker panel to Es. to the openings they enter. For this product to work I had to cut the entire inner speaker grille out of the door panel and tape the outer…

If not, buy a good washing machine kit from Amazon to cover all yours.

I used shims to make sure I don't accidentally break the plastic, I forgot if the shims came with them or with speakers unless I bought a good shim kit from Amazon to do all your shim needs I had to drill 4…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation

  • Very expensive

Protrudes too far on a 2001 Cavalier (2 door)

I bought these for my 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier to fit a pair of 6.5" Infinity Kappas. The first problem is that the Speaker holes go on.not far enough apart but luckily the speakers came with plates which helped in that regard. The big problem is that they are not flat and make your speakers protrude a lot more than they otherwise would, so I either won to cut holes for the speakers to stick out (thank goodness they have good grilles) or not use these plates at all and try to mount the speakers…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
