🔧 Metra 95-7416G Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2000-2003 Nissan Maxima with Bose - Easy and Professional Installation Solution Review

Used this to install a double din Kenwood Excelon DPX791BH head unit in my 2000 Nissan Maxima SE which originally came with a factory Bose system. I am very happy with the fit and finish of the fairing. The color matches the rest of the dashboard and the setup looks great.

I read reviews on this product with 1 star and assumed they didn't know how to install the radio. I installed this in my 2003 Maxima SE with little to no problem. The color goes well with the silver on the side but not the radio grey. I had a small problem with the gap, but it was related to the mounting holes on the radio and had nothing to do with the dash. A little mod on the bracket and no problem fits like a glove.

This part fits fairly well and the color matches well BUT where is the rest of the bracket? This kit only has the front panel! My 2003 factory mount failed to mount my double din Pioneer properly. You will need to heavily modify the factory mount to make it work. It's doable, but not what I expect from a kit. I used the Scosche NN1648B mounting kit and this face kit. I hope this helps you.

I was a little skeptical about the purchase because of the colour. The AMAZON picture is very deceptive. It's not really silver, it's pitch black, like the interior of my car. I recently bought a Kenwood DPX500BT double din in-dash car radio receiver from Revain and had to fit it into my 2000 Nissan Maxima SE install.
