👍 Metra 95-7802CH Double DIN Dash Kit Review: Perfect Fit for Select Honda CR-V Vehicles (2012-Up) Review

As other reviewers have said, there is a small but noticeable gap in the dashboard. It's also very thin and has too much headroom for my liking.

I bought it knowing it was pretty cheap. When I received it, a piece of plastic was already broken. When trying to install it on my Pioneer AVIC-W8400NEX, I was frustrated to find that there was a large gap at the edge of the head unit and I couldn't match it with the rest of the dashboard. I'm going to buy a Scosche HA1714B in spring and see if I have better luck with it.

First of all it works, there's nothing "bad" about it. But why Metra can't supply something that is exactly the same dimensions as the storage area is beyond me. It's just not as smooth as we'd like. Also, the included mounts suck, they work, they're strong enough BUT there are very few easy adjustments or no instructions for them. My 2 din Pioneer is still not sitting quite right a few months later and a few adjustments later. I had a Metra dash kit in my 2009 Honda Civic and it worked great…

Wow. What a disappointment. About this mount because it doesn't recess the radio 1/2 inch like its competitor. What a nightmare. If you use the supplied holes in the mounting arms, the radio will not mount properly. You have to experiment with a million different combinations of screw holes on the sides and attachment points in the arms and then you'll find that despite your best efforts the depth doesn't match and you'll spend another 45 minutes taking each one apart, taking both time and…
