Poor quality and worst customer service

After ordering two of these I refused to receive one that wasn't scratched from the factory. The paint job on them is pathetic and scratched from other parts in the bag. I contacted Metra directly and they were less than helpful. I have been told to continue processing returns with my retailer (Revain). He's expecting a little too much to ask me to keep shipping these things until I win the lottery and get one without a scratch. Metra products no longer exist for me. The Scosche TA2111B Kit may

Fits my 2012 Tacoma

perfectly You may need to trim the hole slightly to fit most radios on the market today. The radio hole on this dash is 6.83" x 3.95" while most 7" radios sold here at Revain are 7.01" x 3.94" so I had to use 1/16". cut on both sides of the new faceplate. I called Metra and suggested they look at the dimensions of the new 7 inch radio and maybe increase the size of the dash hole in the future. If I had another choice, I would not recommend this product

Unfortunately, if I had another choice, I would not recommend this product. It's not a finished gloss, it's a slick black primer. I made the mistake of trying to use standard spray paint, which is perfectly tolerable. You need to cover it with epoxy spray paint, which you can order for $20-$30 a can. The hole is too tight, it took me 45 minutes with a file to remove 1/4 inch of material for the radio to fit. The side mounts are very flimsy, luckily you can use the factory metal mounts. There…
