You don't have many options when trying to upgrade the stereo system in your Volvo 240. The only real issue I found was the mounting holes where the screws attach to the dash. Holes do not match. In the end, I made holes in the shape of an oval so that the mounting groove on the right is properly fixed and stays in place. If you do not file the holes to the correct size, the fastener will pop out of this groove. To be honest, that's a bit of a problem for me.
