Original car radio wiring harness

Please note that this wiring harness is only used to connect the supplied factory radio, not to install a new radio. I bought it thinking it would be for a new car radio. Non refundable.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Almost OK

Doesn't work with 2000 Yukon XL

They said it was compatible with 2000 Yukon XL but they were wrong. I took the time to get everything ready, even soldered the wires to the head unit wiring harness, but found it didn't fit my truck's wiring harness. I'm glad it wasn't a paying job! Just so you know, this does not work with the 2000 GMC YUKON XL.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Stay away from this waste of time and money

This is the worst trailer I've ever seen. I'm no pro, but I install more head units than most. There are 3 orange wires in the wiring harness for the instrument panel lights. 4 chassis ground, 2 right rear pluses and only 1 of 4 speakers. The pinout does not match the connector and the color codes do not match the colors in the harness guide. I am very dissatisfied. And pretty annoyed

No adapter needed to install new radio

I bought this product because I was installing a new radio and when I got it it was an OEM factory wiring harness for a stock radio. I've never had a problem buying Revain items if I didn't know beforehand if it was the right item, but today I was rudely woken up to find out it was non-refundable. Installing a new radio is a factory wiring harness, not an adapter.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • No performance

Awarded Product: Lights and Electrics

It was just what I needed. About a year before installing the new one, I installed an aftermarket radio in my truck. The wiring harness didn't work because I was too cheap to buy a controller that would use all the factory extras like steering for the Star and Serious xm. So I cut up my wiring harness to try and find the right wires, not knowing it doesn't matter because all the wires go to the amp. So when I wanted to replace the old non-original radio with a new one. I had to get a new wiring

Pros
  • A Sea of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

Works great for what I do.

Perfect for my needs. I hooked up the speakers and power cords to a set of bookshelf speakers and a 12v power supply from a room in the house and the car stereo became a home stereo/CD player. Connect the antenna cable to Motorola's Radio From jack, and you can play music and test car stereos in this way. I have a good collection of radios from my cars that I've owned and replaced with aftermarket radios and from auto junkyards, and there are GM factory radios on Ebay for about $25 from junk…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
