Really good Q in solder and flux

I was concerned about running out of solder that came with the kit and loved it. It's even better. Works great for everything I do. This is definitely worth every penny. If I need to buy more, it will be again. I don't solder much so I think two pieces will last a long time.

Pros
  • 63 percent tin, 37 percent lead
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

An essential item for assembling a quadrocopter.

Essential item when assembling a quadcopter. This is my favorite solder, having used a number of other brands when building quadcopters, which I do often. It is very convenient to have solder in a container that easily fits in your hand. Fine solder makes soldering small pads and wires easier.

Pros
  • Equivalent to j-std-004c/j-std-006b and qq-use-571
Cons
  • Available in white only

Excellent Solder - Welding and Soldering

I really like this solder. Not to say I'm familiar with many different brands or types, but with my limited years of experience it's perfectly legit. My only words of wisdom: stay away from those horrible lead-free materials and use flux. I bought a tube for work and got an extra one back for home use. I prefer this compact tool storage tube.

Pros
  • Melting point: 183°C/ 361°F
Cons
  • Expensive
