It would be better if we saw flexible wire, which is easy to find in spools, mostly on products from Europe.

What I liked about this new one is the rotating plug that matches the mains outlet and three spaced sockets for transformer box plugs; this allows maximum use of lane exits. The LED indicators for ground good and load securing, as well as the jammer alert, are nice additions not found in cheaper outlets.

I love these extensions. They are perfect for computers, aquariums or anything where you have a transformer on the plug. My first (a different brand but exactly the same product) lasted almost ten years before it was involved in an unfortunate incident of water guns being sprayed inside. Hiss, pop, done! Of course, that's not the product's fault and I've bought many more since then.

Plug melted and it wouldn't pop out of the circuit breaker, it kept melting as I used it until it stopped working and I had to get my plug substitute

For the price this is an amazing surge protector Decent protection (if not better) - Cheap! I've bought hundreds of these for clients. I have not found anything better than this device for this price. Ok, the cable is a little short at 4 feet. Buy an extension cord if you need one. This outperforms almost anything under $20-$25 as there are no competitor sales (APC, Belkin, TrippLite, Kensington, Fellowes, Cyberpower, etc.).
