They just work. suitable for cable glands

Not much to say about this: These are waterproof and dustproof gland packings that screw directly into 1/2 inch plug holes in standard American housings. Provision of an IP66 housing.

Pros
  • WATERPROOF - IP68 certified for use under water. Resistant to salt water, weak acids, alcohol, oils, fats and common solvents.

Went like clockwork!

Works like a charm! I used them in a paint booth I built that requires an airtight seal for paint fumes and airflow. I am planning another order for my large shop air compressor to replace some of the old safety seals.

Easy to use, great value for money.

Gland is ideal for cable strain relief with moisture protection. I use them for a few small projects but mainly use them for waterproof sockets in workshops and outdoors. They are ideal for this type of application.

Great product for terminating cables

I'm always skeptical when I see five stars for all the features, but I have to say that this product deserves it. Why? Because it is extremely practical for securing cords and cables in all weather conditions. One feature I like and one that makes it particularly useful is that it uses what I think you would call a "sync nut" instead of a metal clip with two screws to hold the cable in place. So when you use the product to connect, you can make the connection by stripping the wire to open…
