My wife bought this for me and when I saw it was a "ratchet" belt I thought "what have you done!" After wearing it for a week i can say that this is the best belt design EVER! Its tough to explain but it works a little like a zip tie and it is extremely secure. I am a big guy (46" waist) and this belt is comfortable and stylish. Most importantly, it is very secure. This is the belt of the future!

My husband loves this belt so much he showed it to every man at a recent party! He is so happy he does not have to punch his own holes in his belts to have a better fit. I love it because it keeps his pants up!

I had purchased another manufacture's belt and experienced slippage whenever any stress was put on the belt. Taking a deep breath as an example. Traded the belt in on the Chaoren belt and it's been solid so far.

I have purchased many similar types of belts at Kohl's Department Stores over the years. Kohl's did not have the belts in stock during a recent store visit so I turned to revain. I am impressed with the quality of this belt including the leather color and the quality of the buckle. And, it was less expensive than I was used to paying at Kohl's!

I bought the cognac belt a few months ago and really liked it. The leather is nice and thick; the fit and finish is really nice.Very recently, I needed a black belt for a formal event and bought the black version. While the fit and finish is still good as far as the buckle goes, the leather itself is much lower quality than the cognac. Looks great. Super stylish. Will not stretch belt holes because there aren’t any. Great if you have gained or lost weight recently and your old belts look ragged from where the belt hole has been stretched out. Wish I had bought this earlier.

I discovered ratchet belts about two months ago and love them! I have two Bulliants, two Missions, two Chaorens, and one Lavemi belt. The Chaoren belts are the most functional. The leather is excellent quality and the open buckle style that I have is very convenient to release. I just lift the back of the buckle to loosen or push the belt forward to tighten the belt a notch or two. I now own 2 of these belts , one brown one black. I really like that the adjustment increments are about 1/4 inch. This belt will fit perfectly when I have a heavey flannel shirt tucked in my jeans, of just a T shirt. Very clever system, and quite easy to use, and well made. I have been wearing them now for about 6 months.

Love this belt. Ratchet belts seem to survive much better than the old school belts where the wholes would tear through (over time of course). For these ratchet belt you need to keep an eye on the part the locks into the end when you "make" the belt. The teeth that hold it in place work well enough, but the ends start to pull eventually. You just trim that edge a touch and the belt is as good as new. With that trimming in mind, be sure not to trim the belt so small that you don't have any…

This is my first belt of this type and I absolutely love it. It is so nice getting a belt that I can size perfectly and easily adjust. And as time goes by it won’t have one stretched out hole like traditional belts develop. Definitely a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

The ratchet concept is great but this belt is not convenient to use , The belt is difficult to tighten because the pull side is under the belt and also difficult to loosen for the same reason .

I was skeptical at first but after a few weeks I'm ready to buy another in a different color. The fit and feel is great. I used the recommended size and I still have plenty of room to 'grow' if needed. It is different and does make a sound when putting it on but it's worth it for the fit and feel of the belt. There were some comments on cutting the belt to size but I didn't have any problems and it's held together really well. I would definitely recommend this product.
