The original cable didn't work, but the new one works.

Bought to connect my existing external USB drive to my new MacBook Pro as it only has USB-C ports. Every time I tried to connect a drive with this cable, the laptop would reboot due to an error. It works great with an existing cable with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Update: The company that sold it contacted me and offered to send me another 3ft cable. Since I just plugged in an external USB drive for backup purposes, it took too long. However, they then sent me a 1 foot cable. This new cable…

Bad connection, don't buy

I bought this cable to connect my new MacBook Pro to a card reader and backup drive without using an Apple adapter. Plugging the cable into the card reader doesn't always provide a good connection and I found I had to unplug and plug it in about every 2-3 times to get a connection. But then when some files were downloaded, the connection was lost before the download was complete. This renders it unusable as unplugging it without ejecting it can corrupt files on the memory card. The product arrived a week before the date stated by Revain. I was happy with that. It was well packaged in a decent ziplock plastic bag - a reusable item. In the pocket was a small card that gives you an email address in case you need assistance. It also includes all of CableCreation's social media details. What surprised me was the 24 month guarantee. High performance and good quality

These cables offer the high performance you expect from them. I tested them with my original Seagate GoFlex and 197Mbps cables. Both cables had basically the same specs as you can see in the pictures. These cables are made of a soft material that bends easily; not rigid which made it difficult for my other aftermarket cables to position external USB drives I was using. Very good Micro-B USB cable

I bought this cable almost 2 months ago for my external hard drive. I haven't used it very much, but I can confirm that the quality is very good so far. The 10GB/s transfer rate limit is very rarely used as most modern hard drives only have read speeds of around 400-500MB/s. s, which is about 10 times less than the maximum speed of this cable.
