does what it promises, WORKS!

Works as expected, especially when I use it with phantom power, I didn't trust using batteries when making my youtube videos. But overall it works great, sounds clean and amazing!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Update available

Incredible price and quality!

I've used Sennheiser and EV Gun microphones my whole life. They cost between $400 and $800. I've been in the audio business for 60 years. This mic works just as well. Great product and build quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern

Poor sound quality good for professional video accessories

Bought to use for my first job, the mic squeaked and was of poor quality. As a result I used an old microphone, it worked fine for me. Tried several microphones, all worked perfectly. No matter what I tried, this one sounded squeaky and the cables wouldn't snap.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No automatic

A reliable entry-level mic for creators looking to improve their sound. Very good build quality for the price. Better than I expected. The unedited sound is crisp, but can be made even better with some post-processing. Overall I think this is a really good mic if you are just starting out with video and also want to learn how to process audio.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Repair

Good price but not cheap mic

I gave 4 stars because of the price of this mic. When I first received it I was disappointed with the quality and considered returning it. I had my eye on a Sennheiser condenser mic but decided to go with a cheaper mic during this pandemic. The first day I used it, my shots kept getting static. NO BACKGROUND NOISE, just static. So I knew there was interference somewhere or that the mic was just cheap. I decided to bypass the included XLR to 3.5mm cable and plug it directly into my field…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions
