Great sound quality. Use it on MOZA Gimble Mini smartphone. I'm not giving 5 stars because one of the chords doesn't work. which sucks. But the device performs very well for its price. Not available with male threaded fasteners.

Honestly I have no idea what this thing is but it was on my grandson's wish list for Christmas. He was happy with that and being a sophomore in college he knows what he wants. That makes life a little easier for him when shooting. He's happy, we're happy.

I bought this with a broken shock absorber but Amazon replaced the whole unit even though I only wanted the shock absorber, mic as described better than built in camera mic and You don't have to turn it on or you'll run out of battery, and you don't have to record all the footage without sound because your battery will also run out, I recommend.

I can hear a big difference in sound when recording with this microphone. The quality is excellent, speech and surround sound are recorded clearly. When I'm shooting outdoors I use a fur coat and it really helps get rid of wind noise. Happy with a budget mic and meets my needs.

The microphone itself is very good and well packaged. It fits perfectly and records good audio on my Samsung Galaxy J7 Star (Android 9) phone. Unfortunately I have to unplug my phone to play the recording. Playback is silent until I unplug the cable, whereupon the audio starts playing immediately.
