Definitely an update for the previous generation of Xbox One controllers (white). The grip on the back is way better than just the bumps on the white controller. It's more like a rubber grip and the whole panel your fingers are on is different than regular plastic. Also, there's a small palm grip on the front (gold part), which is a nice touch, and the buttons are definitely smoother than before.

This is an Xbox One controller. If you like the layout of the Xbox sticks then they are totally superior to the XB 360 controller but they are prone to break and it's kind of a fact that you'll end up with stick drift or headset issues. But so far Recon does its job well and works great. Above all, the discreet design and the non-slip rubber rear triangle deserve praise. In addition, the gold-colored mesh pattern on the front is slightly raised, which helps with better grip.

I give the controller 3 stars because the controller itself feels very good, but the controller looks good. After I get it, the bottom button on the d-pad gets stuck and activates randomly.
