I have a tiny apartment with a very small work area and needed more space. This shelf is great for storing groceries and utensils. It's not very strong so I don't recommend putting heavy objects on it like tall glasses, but I use it for bread, apples, potatoes etc and it works well.

Shelves are not supported in the widest advertised location. It didn't work for me, but if you had a smaller microwave it would be nice. If they advertised the widest function point 3-5 inches shorter it would be more true and I wouldn't buy it. At the same time, the return was quick and easy, so no big deal.

I live in a small apartment with limited work space. It fits nicely in the small counter next to my stove. I have space to chop or blend in front of the shelf while storing groceries at the back counter and shelf. I also love the included hooks for storing my potholders. I am very happy with this shelf. We put the microwave underneath and the toaster on the shelf and suddenly I had so much table space! We have a tiny kitchen, so every inch counts.
