Comfortable but seat cracked after a few days

Appears to be well constructed, easy to assemble and was comfortable but the padded seat sits on a flexible and brittle sheet of engineering plastic which cracked internally after a week and left no support for legs. Too bad, but hardly usable. (I'm 6ft 2in and 200lbs so I was under stress but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a desk chair to be able to support a person my size.)

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Expensive

It's not perfect due to assembly issues

First, I'll confirm what everyone else has said. Directions are terrible. My husband, I finally got to the point where all we had to do was finish the build with no instructions. I'm not sure if it's related to that or the quality of the chair, but the reclining back doesn't work. I pick him up, tighten the adjuster, and the back of the chair falls back. The footrest must be constantly tightened. I wish I could keep looking.

  • An absolute legend

Nice chair construction but not worth the price

I know the price of this chair is low compared to what you can find, but it was expensive enough that I was expecting quality materials. Generally the chair works, but when extended to full height the support post under the chair wobbles. The column also drops significantly when sitting in a chair (6-10 inches less than my 170 lb weight). Also, the chair is comfortable to sit on and is big enough for my desk and will suffice.

  • Price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Drafting Chair: Office Furniture and Lighting

I was looking for a comfortable chair for my drafting table. I already use a quality mesh chair due to a birth defect in my spine, but I wasn't willing to pay that much money for something I use much less often. The chair arrived in good condition but required assembly, which is easy for me; However, it wasn't difficult at all as I was able to finish it on my drafting table. It's basically a writing chair with an extension that includes a footrest to turn it into a drawing chair. The chair is…

Chairs Good condition - Shipping OK - No mounting screws

As for the chair, this is a good chair. The problem is that the base isn't very wide and if (when) you sit on the edge of the chair it "falls" away from under you. The solution is to put your whole butt on the chair. My real problem was the delivery of all (3) chairs, everything was fine except the plastic packaging that came with (11) mounting screws was broken and the screws were loose in the box and each chair was missing (3) screws . Which I was able to replace and install because I'm at a…

buy at your own risk. on Office Furniture & Lighting

Chair quality 4/5 Chair design 0/5 but the seat is too big, it overhangs the leg bar by 20.3 cm. My legs become so numb that I cannot stand for 5 minutes before the blood returns to my legs. Seat without Liebig = large leg bar. not small, I adjusted the bar up but only the heels are touching. this chair should be recalled for medical reasons. If it interferes with blood flow, it's not medically safe. The footrest protrudes from the back of the chair. The front bar is 8 inches below the seat. It

cheap chair, cheap quality

Don't get me wrong. The words "you get what you pay for" are very true when you buy something like this. Most office chairs are 2-3 times more expensive, so you give up a bit of quality. #1 - the footrest eventually slides down the bar no matter how hard we try (there's a knob you tighten to prevent this, but it doesn't. #2 - the seat padding is cheap. If you want sit with it all day NO #3 - although we feel like we're putting that together with a T if someone picks it up and someone sits…
