This product works well, changing the battery is easy after the first run, also make sure the alarm is set to voice or sound so that the light works and the plug the connector marked on the back is plugged in.

When I bought a Midland WR120 weather station I bought a stroboscope. The light is quite bright, especially at night. Very easy to install. I love the double sided velcro that is included for hanging the light on the wall. Also, the chord is very long. I love this addition to my weather radio.

I'm sure a working product works great. However, mine arrived with 2 LEDs that didn't work. from an LED that worked, the device appears to be very bright. Tried to return for exact replacement. Revain's customer service was terrible. Between the service person talking to me like an idiot and not wanting to trade it for another, I gave up.

We have had a Midland SAME weather radio for over 2 years. The 96 decibel alarm is enough to wake you from a deep sleep, so it's tuned for extreme weather only. Since there was a person with hearing impairment in the house, a visual cue was needed. It definitely works. This strobe light is a very useful addition to a Midland weather radio (or any brand with a connection for an external alarm device). In my case, I wanted some seniors to notice when the NWS issues a severe storm warning.
