This replacement hose was advertised as a Miele product but is not. As you can see from the photos the original hose has a part number while the replacement hose only has a gap in the same place. . I bought this more expensive hose specifically because reviews of cheaper replacement hoses suggested they were non-original and leaked suction. This hose also sucks leaking, which causes high noise.
