Well-made product but not very suitable for my pup

I don't mind how this product is made. It's solid and does what it says. It was well packaged and had multiple options for different ringtones. The instructions were easy to follow. Apparently my pup can't read and my explanations to her of how this whole thing was supposed to work just didn't sit well with her. My puppy just didn't get it. We've been following this for 3 or 4 months and no bones, no movement (pun intended). She would rather just sit in front of me and look at me. Maybe she…

Pros
  • Customizable: The ring volume and ringtone can be customized to the style of your choice, with 4 different volumes and 38 different tones to choose from! The activator and receiver communicate indoors up to 1000 feet apart.

The best bell we've tried!

My puppy got used to it straight away, but my older dog didn't dare to press the button, so I tried another brand with very sensitive buttons that the dog activates with a light touch of the nose but they didn't work at all unless they were left untouched in a very specific place and I ended up sending them back. I put those buttons back on for the pup and we haven't had a single accident around the house since. My older dog doesn't like touching the button herself but she gets the whole idea…

Works great and very durable!

When we adopted a new puppy, we found that he didn't let us know when he wanted in and out. We were looking for something that could warn us. We chose this and have been using it for 4 years. He quickly learned to use it. When he wanted to get in or out, we rang the bell before opening the door and activated it with his paw. He had the idea and implemented it himself in a short time. Instead of mounting them to the wall, I mounted them (we have two, one inside and one outside) on a slate stand…

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: The bell rings with only 0.75 pounds of force, making it easy to use for dogs of all sizes.
Cons
  • weak

Easy to use and fantastic potty time

We originally bought this for our (now 3.5 year old) Golden because he didn't bark to come out like a puppy for our side and back doors. It took him about 2 weeks (he was 12 weeks old at the time) to learn how to use the bell to tell us he needed to go potty. Lol, he quickly found that he could use it whenever he wanted besides potty training (playing/swimming/petting everyone in the neighborhood/digging/being curious because he saw someone through the window), wanting to get in, being fed…

Pros
  • No cords required: No cords or batteries required - the bell easily attaches to a door or wall with 3M tape, no tools required!
Cons
  • poorly thought out
