Smirks at Kreg's tool, but I'd prefer Kreg's tool to Milescraft. Milescraft really ticks the boxes and performance is good. I would recommend this tool as a budget tool.

Woodworking and furniture making improve when you learn to set a gauge instead of measuring every time. Even spacing between holes, slats, doors, moldings are just a few of the many uses. Try making holes for the studs with tape, then measure.

I purchased this item on March 3, 2019. When I received it I found that it is actually PLASTIC (case) and not METAL as described. If I had known it was actually made of plastic and metal I would not have purchased this item. Very disappointed.

Saves time on small projects for accurate measurements. My brother is also very happy with such tools after seeing mine and bought 3 for himself and his sons. Also, double level is good, others only have one dragonfly.

For the money this is an excellent tool. I used it to mark 3/16 of the bevel around the door frames and window trim. The tool can be used as a 45 degree square marker and has 2 small levels. I am very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing a few more for my shop and as gifts.

Waste of money and another great idea spoiled by poor quality. According to Milescraft, it is not a precision instrument, although it has built-in leveling bladders. I bought 2 and both are not calibrated for plumb or level, one of them is the 8th! So I contact Milescrapt and they reply that this is not meant to be a level so WTF! I know that Kreg can be used as a layer.
