Great little set for the price

Watch the price on these - they can fluctuate. This set has every size I need for the (3) "American" and (1) Japanese car models I work on (Manufacturers: Chevy, Jeep and Toyota). Can't comment on sizes for other cars and models though. Check what you need before you buy.

Pros
  • Flare Nut Wrench Set, love it.
Cons
  • The organizer pouch is not very secure, and the wrenches may fall out

Well they'll work?

There thicker than my other set and some places they didn't fit in so ? I was able to get the job done the case is nice to carry around over all they'll work.

Pros
  • Nothing fancy and does what I need it to.
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for use in high-temperature environments

Flare nut wrench good for me

Wrenches were correct to size and felt good in the hand. The only issue I had with them, was that they're a little thick for the application I was trying to use them for, bleeding brakes with a vacuum pump unit.

Pros
  • Good quality, nice price and practical box for the 3 pcs
Cons
  • The set only includes SAE sizes, which may not be useful for those working with metric measurements

Flare Nut Wremch set

I do a lot of work on my cars brakes and these wrenches keep me from rounding the corners. They are an great addition to me tool box.

Pros
  • All good
Cons
  • Wrenches were loose on flare nuts. Standard wrench worked better

Worth the wait and the money

I would definitely purchase products from these guys. Real strong product.Usually low priced brands are weak and spread under pressure. The held up damn good. Lines were original would not come off easy. Wrenches were spectacular.

Pros
  • Met expectations. good fit on hard to reach hydraulic lines.
Cons
  • The wrenches may be too short to provide enough leverage for some jobs

Decent Wrench Set best in my review

For the price these were a good quality wrench. They fit the nuts snug and not sloppy. The handle was sturdy and fit your hand nice. They also came in a nice holder for keeping them together.

Pros
  • Came as described, nice set with multiple sizes and doesn’t break the bank
Cons
  • The set may be too expensive for hobbyists or occasional users

Seems to be quality tools but

The tools seem to be quality but unfortunately the two sizes I need for my car repair weren't included in this set. Isn't it funny when they put a set together they exclude the size most needed on cars

Pros
  • Not the best looking wrenches, but should do fine.
Cons
  • The set may not be worth the investment for those who only perform occasional repairs

The Duratech SAE flare wrench set seems to be well made.

I'll be using my Duratech flare wrenches very soon. I'm sure they will work very well. The pouch is a nice feature. The cost and shipping were both reasonable.

Pros
  • nothing
Cons
  • The organizer pouch is not very compact, making it difficult to transport

Every toolbox should have a set

These look and work great.they feel sturdy. I like the storage pouch that they come in and it is a great value for a shade tree mechanic that occasionally dabbles in brake work.

Pros
  • You’re not gonna come across a better bang for your buck, quality metal too
Cons
  • The wrenches may cause damage to plastic or composite materials

Great deal! good for me

Great price, sturdy carry case, tools feel high quality and nice in the hand feelh. Un-did oil gauge sending line under dash of 1969 K10 Chevy. Line wrench made is super easy. Forget using a standard open end wrench. BUY THIS SET!

Pros
  • Fit brake line flare nut well
Cons
  • The organizer pouch may not be very durable, and may need to be replaced frequently

says you get 10-17mm, but no

i just looked at the title it said 10-17mm, but there is no size 11mm or 16mm. i was doing a brake job like another reviewer and needed a size 11mm. Other than that they were what i expected. They seem to be an ok quality. They are not large tools a bit smaller and would have been perfect for the car i was working on.

Pros
  • The wrenches appear to be well make and fit over nuts very well with minimal slack.
Cons
  • The set is not corrosion-resistant and may rust over time

Great wrench set. best in my review

Well made wrench set. It did the job, no problem. It did fit perfectly. Really satisfied with the product quality . The wrenches may become stiff and difficult to turn over time!

Pros
  • I would have kept the wrench set had it had the size I needed.
Cons
  • The wrenches may become stiff and difficult to turn over time

These appear to be very well made.

These are are a quality set of wrenches, they are beefy and do not bend open when cranking on them. They hold their shape very well and fit.Very good price compared to stores, and quality appears better.

Pros
  • High quality at a good price.
Cons
  • The set may not be widely available in all regions

Good value for a complete set

My vehicle has a hydraulic clutch and I needed to replace the slave cylinder and needed a flare nut wrench to replace and bleed the slave cylinder. This Duratech wrench set is good value and has both metric and imperial sizes so I am set to go for next time I need a flare nut wrench.

Pros
  • Quality is tops. Thank you.
Cons
  • The set may not be very environmentally friendly due to the materials used

Not great. - my new review

These wrenches would probably be a good set for someone that would rarely use them. Once I really pushed on it, the end sprung, and stripped the flare nut. Not really worth the price. Poor quality if you need to use them on tight flare nuts

Pros
  • Should have a lifetime warranty
Cons
  • The wrenches may not be compatible with non-DURATECH products

High Quality Tools - my new review

I usually buy craftsman's and snap on tools. I am restoring a 1952 Allis Chalmers B and I needed flare wrenches. These wrenches are just as good as snap on tools. I am really impressed with the quality. From now on I know where I will go if I need any tools. Duratech has made an impression on me. Never heard of them before but I read a lot of reviews and decided to give these wrenches a try. I am glad I did. I will buy again.

Pros
  • Works perfectly
Cons
  • The wrenches may wear out quickly if used frequently

Nice wrenches!: my feedback

I had a brake line blow on a 20 year old car and I didn’t have any flare nut metric wrenches. Rather than round out the old fittings, I picked up this set mainly for the 10/12 mm wrench, but ended up using all three wrenches at various points. These wrenches are solid, they did the job just fine. The ends are noticeably thicker than my 30+ year old SAE flare nut wrenches. They didn’t round out any of my old fittings, even when I had to stick a pipe over the wrench for leverage to break the…

Pros
  • Been doing some brake work no complaints would buy again
Cons
  • The set may not be as precise as other, more specialized tools

These are heavy duty. maybe too much

I've used these in my profession for over 2 years and they hold up well. No rust to this day and I live on the coast. My only complaint is that the surface is too thick for the small/close fittings. They're heavy which some may like, but I carry a tool bag and would prefer a thinner design. That aside, this is a great value for the money set and will last many years by my estimate. If its just a few different sizes that you use, then I would go higher end and get the ones you need.

Pros
  • Worked exactly Like it was supposed to!
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for use in tight spaces

Dratech Flare Nut Wrench = A+

Needed a line wrench for doing brakes on a 2007 Mazda with 270,000 miles. Just by looking I knew a regular wrench would just round off the fittings on these OLD lines. Needed the 10mm so ordered this set. Sprayed the fittings with Kroil penetrant for 2 days while waiting for these to show up. The 10mm fit like a glove, I mean no wiggle room at all, which is what you want. This fitting didn't want to budge but the wrench did it's job with out even the slightest of deformation to the fitting. No…

Pros
  • Good quality tools works great prevents rounding off the corners and slipping off
Cons
  • The wrenches may be difficult to clean due to their complex shape

Best price for wrenches this size.

I needed a wrench (14mm) for removing brake lines from a master cylinder and also a wrench (15mm) to remove the main nuts holding the master cylinder to my Chevy Suburban. This set included both wrenches and got the job done. Like the far more expensive Craftsman wrenches, they are all made in China and only time will tell if they last. So far so good.

Pros
  • Fit perfectly my Dodge.
Cons
  • The wrenches do not have comfortable grips, making them difficult to use for extended periods
