As a loyal customer of Sports and Outdoors, I was excited to try this supposed "military-grade" paintball gear. However, as a result of my tests, I determined that it is far from combat-ready. The only positive aspect is the affordable price, but that comes at the cost of cheap materials and poor durability. The supposed tactical features were non-existent, leaving me feeling exposed and unsupported during games. Save your money and invest in better gear.

I teach in an industrial outdoor setting on the sidewalk. I have a colleague who has much more expensive Arc teryx knee pads. To be honest, I don't think the extra cost is worth it. They perfectly protect my knees from hitting the pavement and stay in place.

They look like the Arc'teryx that are popular with the army, and with good reason. They are very similar in many ways, but definitely not as good. Cushioning is of lower quality (softer and less durable foam) but not terrible. But the main problem is that, for lack of a better word, they're understated. The pocket where the knee sits should be deeper, like a bowl, so they are comfortable and stay on the knees. Hope that helps!
