Ideal. Men good for men

All plastic, but very durable. Good for electrical work. It reminds me of my old dark blue belt, but it's made of plastic. Very satisfied.

Decent nylon belt with YKK buckle 40mm/1.5in

Get both Bulldog40 and Bulldog32. The Bulldog40 uses a 40mm/1.5" YKK buckle while the Bulldog 32 is a belt with a 32mm/1.25" YKK buckle. Pros: The belt is metal-free - less hassle at airports and security checks. Quiet - new buckle The new buckle makes a "creaking" noise when the belt is put on and taken off. The noise disappears after a while. Scratch Free - Nylon buckle material reduces damage to your camera, binoculars or essential gear. like a trouser belt. It's a bit annoying when the…

Really great belt in belt

Lightweight and very strong. I wear it over different types of pants with no problem. I can always get comfortable without worrying about the holes being torn and looking anxious over time. I think this is my favorite belt now.

The membrane has become thinner and unusable!

Two of the four plastic knobs appear to be longer than imported ones, actually don't mind paying "a little more" so American companies don't outsource their products and move everything made in China to being thrown in the trash. from this country. However, this belt and buckle cost about three times the price of imported junk, but over the years as Thomas Bates' price has risen, the quality has declined. Thomas Bates now claims to be "Made in the USA" (by Global Materials). I love the buckle…

works great but I broke a couple of buckles on them.

I had a Hiker and bought a Bulldog and a Titan to see the difference for myself. Hiker is small and light. Works great but I've broken a few buckles on them over the years. Titanium and Bulldog are larger, thicker and have a stronger buckle. I prefer the titanium buckle but both are good. both are snap-proof and non-slip, and best of all, both are metal-free, so great for travel.

Good but needs improvement

Got this because I wanted the plastic buckle to be used at airports. The buckle itself is impressive, fastens the running end of the belt really well, better than most other similar metal buckles I own. But the weight of the webbing is much lighter than some other weave style webbings I have so that was a disappointment. There was an issue with the fabric puckering slightly on the back belt loop when worn. A stiffer webbing material will not do this. I wonder why the manufacturer chose a…

Works fine for me. Small buckle, easy to set up and use.

Works great for me. I've tried many non-metal bands but so far this is my favorite. The belt is easy to trim. I trimmed the end with a little "curve" to make it look better and just lit a match. (it's nylon so the edge is sealed). The buckle is small, not "big" like other plastic buckles. In addition, the buckle's gripping and adjustment mechanism is simple and will grab the end of the belt at any point (there are no matching holes in the belt), making it easy to adjust properly. I've only worn

Beautiful, Comfortable, Functional

I was a bit nervous about the plastic buckle but it holds up well after the first month. Cutting the strap to length is easy - just make sure you have sharp scissors to make a reasonably clean cut and the flame will clean the edge well without damaging the thicker fabric. I've never done this before, but it was very easy. I have another nylon belt that is good for hiking, but it's thinner, narrower and doesn't look as good - I really like the color (black) and size of this belt, which goes…
