Bad clutch for power and hand tools

As Bill said, the clutch failed before the first 5/8 inch anchor was flooded. I sent it back immediately and will be looking for a larger device. I prefer not to use a cordless tool if I can avoid it, replacement batteries cost 90% more than a new tool. My position is to buy mains tools and a honda inverter generator and move on. This tool is too imperfect to be considered a useful tool. Corey

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Some faults

We have two of these on our service trucks and have been using them for over two years with no problems. They are compact, very fast and reliable. We're constantly drilling 1/4" to 1/2" holes in concrete walls for Tapcon or Redhead concrete anchors and have never had a problem. It takes about 5 seconds to drill a 1/4 inch diameter and 2 inch deep hole with one hand. Compared to the Dewalt 18 volt portable hammer drill that we use for most drilling jobs, this tool is best for concrete drilling…

Pros
  • Demolition Drills and Hammers
Cons
  • Price Piggy Bank

Outstanding one-hand rotary hammer SDS.

I was looking for an SDS Punch, mainly used to install Gripcons & Tapcons. I've probably only drilled 20 1/4" or smaller holes with it, but this thing is great. It's narrowed down to this or the Bosch Bulldog, but I wanted to be able to drill into concrete walls. and only use one hand , as I do a lot of basement repairs and usually 1x hold the strapping with my other hand while I drill it and the concrete.I used to use another SDS drill and I have an old non-SDS impact drill but I think it does

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
