After my brushed version was buried in the ground I decided to go with the brushless version. It's a little less. The battery and charger from my old one fit and work well. I was nervous about the new type cartridge as it is smaller than the old cartridge but actually works better so far. All in all a few weeks of heavy use and so far so good.
