Miniature White LED Flashlight Bulbs Lamps Review

I have a very nice lighted vintage magnifying glass that uses 2 AAA batteries and a 222 bulb. 2 AA batteries and a 222 bulb. I stopped using both because bulbs don't last very long hold and drain the batteries quickly. Not only do these replacement LED bulbs fit perfectly, they also produce significantly more light than incandescent bulbs (I've used both, the difference is huge). Nice white light. Like others; Don't expect all 5 bulbs to work. I got lucky, 4 out of 5 worked, the other was dead with no visible physical damage. I've used them in some seasonal decorations that used to use standard incandescent bulbs and they do their job well and the batteries last a lot longer. A couple of things to note is that the light output is closer to the "blue" part of the daylight spectrum and this wasn't an issue for my application but might be for others. Performance is ok but rechargeable batteries are not the best choice for these lights. So this limits the gain in efficiency if you have to go back to using disposable batteries. A fresh set of alkaline batteries will give you a nice bright white light; and they should last a long time (I haven't tested the battery life).
