Not as warm as hoped

I was hoping to send my daughter a warm meal to kindergarten. We tested it over a couple of weekends and I didn't like the food temperature after 3-4 hours. We followed the instructions and preheated it with boiling water. This would be normal for an older child or an adult with a less sensitive stomach.

  • Durable test results

Keeps my food warm! - Insulated Food Jars

I need a 24 ounce thermos that holds enough liquid and is big enough to eat out of. I surprised him and while everyone was eating sandwiches I ate hot soup. He even kept the heat in the cold car until the end of the game. I recommend it if you're looking for a decent thermos without spending a lot of money on one.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

  • Available in white only

I love my new thermos!

I am happy with this purchase. Before putting food in it, I follow the manufacturer's instructions: pour in hot water, cover with a lid and let stand for 5 minutes. Right after 5 minutes I drain the water and immediately put in my delicious warm lunch for the day. I usually set my hot lunch at 7am and by 1pm it's still hot enough to eat comfortably!

they did it right! in kitchen and dining room

Good size, easy to fill and clean, keeps food warm This causes the inner lid to not close properly. I have no idea what the gray button does, so I tell myself that every time I press it someone will drop a dollar - as long as I win $3.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive

Keeps food hot for HOURS!

This is a wonderful food "thermos". It keeps food warm for a long time. I pour in very hot water and let it sit for about 10 minutes while heating the soup or stew. Then I pour it into a thermos and it stays hot for hours and I just love it. The only thing I don't like is that the lid is sometimes difficult to unscrew due to the diameter of the lid and my hands are very small.

Pros
  • This is amazing

can make you sick The Best in Insulated Food Jars

First, I have a Yetti that I use regularly for drinks and have had no problems. I bought this can for lunch at work. I liked it at first. Small and kept my food nuclear hot. But then I noticed I had a metallic taste in my mouth for a day or two after using it. Then I started getting headaches. When I stopped using it everything was gone. Started using again, metallic taste and headache again. i thought i was crazy Cleaned with soda didn't help. Very disappointed because it is unusable for me.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

design flaw! in Kitchen & Dining

This thermos didn't keep my food warm very well. The big problem, however, is the inner lid. It has some sort of button in the middle which I think should be a pressure vent, but it allows water to seep into the lid when I (hand) wash it. Now when I pour hot liquid into the thermos and close the lid, it starts squirting soapy water out of this knob. This happens even if the lid was left open to dry completely. I cannot recommend this thermos. I just tried a Stanley thermos and it kept my food a

Outstanding product!

I haven't bought a thermos for many years and after reading the reviews I decided to try this one. That's more than I expected! I'll get straight to the facts. At 11:30 am I pack my lunch before leaving for work at noon, including soup which I pour from a hot pot into my MIRA food can. I usually don't mix my lunch until 6:15pm, then almost 7 hours later the soup is still TOO HOT TO EAT! I was surprised! Also, I don't get home until 1am. At this point, my soup is still warm enough to eat…
