Comfort and reliability

When the strap is properly adjusted, the strap will hold the camera securely. I like the extra strap that goes around the opposite side of the wrist. My previous bracelet didn't have this and now I feel like it's a must have. At this point, the build quality and materials seem decently adequate. No problems after a few weeks of use.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Will be added later

Handy, but a bit insecure

A very good handle for the price, but with an unavoidable risk in field use. The only thing holding the strap together is a button closure. I'm a researcher and when I hang things up and try to take pictures I worry that one day they will fall. If you're a casual photographer who doesn't do extreme physical things, this should be perfect for you.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

A major disadvantage of Bags & Cases

I used this thing and love the whole build except for one important detail. The camera screw on the bottom is constantly loosened during normal use. I used a screwdriver to tighten the lower part in particular, but it loosened after an hour of shooting. If you don't use a spare strap, you can easily drop your camera. There really has to be some kind of thread lock.

Pros
  • is clear even to the old
Cons
  • . The list is getting long.

Works well with straps for binoculars, cameras and camcorders

All in all, this is a very good strap for those of us who hate shoulder straps. My only concern is the piece of metal held by a small screw through a silver connector where the D-rings go. If this screw breaks, you'd better put on a tether or use an optional shoulder strap that attaches with a snap to the ring pivot hole on the bottom of this unit, where it screws into the tripod socket.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Nice camera strap in bags and cases

I recently bought a Sony Alpha 77ii camera and wanted to attach a strap to it. I ordered this. Assembly was easy. A key feature is the built in Arca-Swiss plate that fits the Arca-Swiss clamps on all of my tripods. In addition, access to the battery compartment is not blocked during installation. I also like the built in eyelet so I can attach it to a thick string if I want to. So far I am impressed with this camera strap.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I love this harness. Feels good, quality materials and tailoring. Fits perfectly and doesn't interfere with any of my controls. My hand goes in and out easily, much better than other straps I've used in the past. I use it with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk III with battery grip. I attach the strap directly to the battery grip and use the quick release plate separately from the strap. Works perfect. I really like the quick plate that comes with it. 90 degree adjustable angle for quick belt attachment,

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
