We bought a separate set of ink tanks (refillable) with a refill kit and spent about an hour and a half trying different adjustments, cleanings and resets to get it to work and it is never happened. Then we bought this kit and it worked right away. It was also cheaper than a refill kit ink set (although it would have a second refill). While they said these weren't 1st batch cartridges, that didn't affect the quality of the prints and I think he just does it in a way that doesn't automatically…

I bought these by mistake when I was going to buy HP cartridges. When I opened the box and realized my mistake the return period had expired so I tried a cartridge because the printer said the black cartridge was completely empty. I have found that they are not compatible with HP cartridges at all, even after following the manufacturer's instructions. The ink bleeds horribly resulting in an unusable print. Stay away from this product!

Unfortunately I didn't have to change the cartridge until after the 30th return period. When the cartridges are inserted, they initialize the printhead with ink, but when the printhead prints a page and requests more ink from the cartridge, it becomes unresponsive, causing the ink to run out and half the page to be printed. I've used them on the T525 in the office several times over the past few years. I recently purchased a newer T100 for home use and while this printer is not listed as compatible with these cartridges I am happy to report that they have worked flawlessly. I even used them for the initial setup and saved the starter cartridges that came with the new HP T100 for later. Simply click on the standard "non-HP ink cartridge detected" and the printhead will be primed and aligned perfectly for first use.

I originally bought the ink because the factory ink is so damn expensive for my large run that it's impossible to print at home or go to a local print center. The Miss Deer ink seems to be accepted as compatible by the HP printer and gives decent results. I've had a few issues with this aside from a few cleaning cycles or two when not printing regularly on my large format, but I've had to do that with factory inks as well. I will for sure buy it again.

I used a yellow ink cartridge in our HP T120 plotter and it warned me about using unauthorized ink. It worked fine for about a month and then I couldn't use the plotter anymore. He alerted me to the ink problem and it didn't go any further. I replaced it with an original HP cartridge and am back to work. I think I'll throw the rest in the trash.

I have had bad experiences with OEM brands for this ink cartridge. I print large architectural plans and get the perfect color when needed. Not light or dark in random places. I've had this problem with other OEM brands. Also, I have not received any error messages that the cartridge is not compatible. I spent a lot of money looking for available ink for this and am really happy with it.

Great price. The inks work great when using black and white prints or simple colored lines etc. With large areas, the colors of the images are distorted by lines in the printout, and sometimes the wrong colors are printed. For example, when I try to print a yellow image, it's yellow 7 times out of 10, but sometimes it's green. Most of the time this isn't a problem for me because I mostly use black and white prints, but I just thought you should be aware of this glitch.

Bought this ink for my Deskjet T100 and it is excellent value for money. Prints look very good. All 5 cartridges are replaced for the price of one HP cartridge. I love my HP printers but the ink prices are crazy. HP will determine that the cartridges are third-party and you'll get a notification, but everything else works the same. Great product, phenomenal price.
