👕 Mister Rogers Heat Sensitive Mug - Transform Mr. Rogers' Jacket into his Iconic Sweater by Adding Coffee or Tea - Encased in an Entertaining Packaging Review

What a disappointment! After just 3 uses, I took a sip of coffee and ended up with the words in my mouth. Scraps of film came loose! I only hand washed with mild soap, never in the dishwasher. I didn't even reheat it in the microwave! I won't be able to use it anymore. I can't bear the thought of Mister Rogers' face slowly slipping off his face.

Loved this mug. I kept it in my display case as a decoration for almost a year. I finally decided to use it and within 5 uses the picture came off in several places (I didn't soak it or put it in the dishwasher). I also noticed that it cracked in several places after I poured coffee. Great for show but not a mug for regular use.

Works as advertised, sparking nostalgia and conversation. BUT. deal with it seriously, and then handle it even more gently than the instructions say. The seal seems to be peeling off even if you frown. Definitely not dishwasher safe or even slightly abrasive dishwashing sponge.

I gave it to my husband for his birthday. He loved it! However, I found out why it can't be submerged in water 😬 I did it by mistake and Mister Roger's sweater fell off. I have to buy another one before my husband asks for it lol. This is a really great mug for Mister Rogers fans (who doesn't?) and our kid loved watching his sweater change color!

I bought this mug because Fred Rogers is a classic! I was very disappointed because only after 3 washes the print started to peel off and then fell into pieces. I only hand washed! I have another color changing mug that I own and have been using for many, many years, so I concluded that the unemployed philosophers guild made them cheap and then sold them for a lot of money. Really sad about that.

This is a great mug and as a long time Mister Rogers fan I am very glad I have it. However, one has to be very careful with this - apparently without a dishwasher (although it's microwaveable - didn't risk it). I'm on my second one though because I left it in the sink for a couple of hours and almost 1/3 of its surface was doming and weird/peeling. I was so sad! I will only (briefly) hand wash my new one so it stays beautiful longer. :)

I am very happy and satisfied with their wonderful customer service. After just a week of use (not used daily so only about 3 times) I regret to report that the lettering is fading and peeling off. Very pretty and my wife loved receiving it. BUT: The drawing is not burned into the enamel. It's a sticker and it fell apart. Gradually, piece by piece, the pieces fell off beyond recognition. We always hand washed it (we don't have a dishwasher) so that wasn't a problem. It cannot withstand the microwave oven that has been used many times.
