I haven't tried all of the shaving soaps but I've tried a few dozen of them. Mitchell's Wool Fat is the best I've ever used. Applied with a brush, it forms a thick "wet" foam and the razor literally glides over the face. I love this shaving soap!

The soap is smooth and has the best aftershave feel of the classic soaps I've tried. The scent is clean and fresh. It doesn't excite me, but does its job well every time.

This shaving soap will not leave you indifferent. I have used many shaving soaps and MWF is at the top of the list of top of the range soaps. It foams easily and delivers a thick, juicy, moist lather. Leaves a feeling of readiness on the face, doesn't dry or irritate like some smaller soaps. I think it lathers up easier and faster in MHO than other well known branded soaps like Taylor's of Old Bond Street and some RazoRock soaps.
