I bought this to compare to the Staedtler 502 Rotary Pointer Sharpener. Now this is the only sharpener I use. Pros: Small enough to be handy when traveling. Suitable for all branded lead holders. for the 502, which provides a method of using a longer cone - small enough to easily lose the razor trap, it can be a nuisance to open to empty.
