Dual metric reading scales, for ease of measurement. Four-way measurement capability, for outside diameter (OD), inside diameter (ID), step, and depth measurements. Main scale jaw slides up and down to allow for measurement of hard-to-access stepped sections. Hardened, corrosion-resistant steel construction for protection of caliper components. Raised sliding surfaces for preventing defacement and wear of scale graduations.

Japanese production. Jaw shift is an excellent feature.

Jaw offset function makes some difficult measurements easier. It's a wonderful tool and a pleasure to use. The absence of dials or electronics to break makes the instrument durable.
