Razor sharp knives!

The Mizu Knives Premium 1000/6000 Grit arrived on time and in attractive packaging. The fit and finish of the stone and holder is appealing. It's both 'form and function'. Exceeded my expectations! My knives are like surgical instruments now!

Very good set for the price!

I have been a wire cutter for many years and have not used this set as it is a gift for a friend but on closer inspection I was really impressed overall. The quality of the stones and coasters. This will be the first sharpening stone for the new edge enthusiast and looks like a great start! I can even take one for myself.

Amazing stones and great price!

I was relatively new to stick knife sharpening. I've used electronic sharpeners for years and they have worked, but my blades have not been smooth. This stone is excellent. It took some practice (like any other stone) but my knives are like razor blades. The product does exactly what it should. And the price is great.

I highly recommend these bars

Very satisfied! His ability to sharpen a blade is very welcome as I was finally able to sharpen my handachi. The quality is very high and I'm glad I made this purchase. The sharpening instructions are very welcome and helpful even for newbies like me. It would be nice if they could provide an instructional video on how to properly sharpen knives and Japanese swords.

Perfect for sharpening my knives!

After sharpening some of my knives with the stone I can say that the whetstone sharpened the edges of the blades perfectly. Although I haven't used the instructions, I'm sure they will help a beginner in using the stone. My wife seems to enjoy it as it makes sharpening easier and you don't have to worry about holding the knife at a certain angle. Pros: Works with all types of knives. Used for Shun, Wustoff knives and even some pocket knives. The box was a little dented but it could just be a…

Easy to use and BETTER than the "brand name " knife sharpener I own.

I already had a knife sharpener that I got as a Christmas present. Manufactured by a very popular German knife company. but my old sharpener did SHIT sharpening my fancy German blacksmith knives. I bought this whetstone on a whim. I was a bit nervous when I first used it, I was afraid I would really ruin my knives. BUT it's super easy to use and does a GREAT job. I am very glad that I bought this sharpening stone. It has breathed new life into my old knives. Thank God. because I wasn't willing…

This sharpening stone has problems

Unlike other users, I found this sharpening stone unacceptable 1) Magnetic shavings formed during sharpening, regardless of the composition of the stone. If it's the knife, I've tried three knives: the Gemini Santoku, the Knife Master Chef's Knife, and the Yaxell Mon Chef's Knife, and they all have the same thing. During the sanding process, the 1000 grit started creating bumps and I had to stop. 2) The polishing side, 6000 grit, did not generate magnetic chips, but it had roughness, even more…
