Not comparable to Wave Inspire 16

I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Inspire shoes for many, many years. I probably started with #5 and my last pair was the Wave Inspire 16. They fit me perfectly. I can run miles in it. Needing a new pair I ordered these 17. They are SO tight on top (the widest part of my foot), I wore them around the house all day and my feet hurt. I returned them today. I hope Mizuno returns to previous models to see why this one is so different. Big disappointment.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. I decided to try the Mizuno Wave Inspire after New Balance switched their styling to the 860s and I didn't like the new fit. I've had these shoes for about a month now and I can't run or walk more than 3 miles in them without getting a blister somewhere on my foot. The front fold goes in the wrong place and causes pain after just a short walk. While I'm not a fan of the new New Balance 860 design, I'll be giving them away and returning to…
