Stopped working after two weeks.

Worked great for the first week. Then somehow water got into the heating element. We were lucky that the fish was not electrocuted. Spend a little more and buy something more solid.

It's noisy.: Aquarium heater and cooler

Does the job, but very noisy. I hear it from the front door of my house from the kitchen. It's annoying at first because it turns on and off depending on the water temperature. After a few hours, however, I was able to set it up for the most part.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Great compact heater!

Doesn't get very hot even out of the water. They claim it won't burn if left out of the water, but they didn't say it could melt the hull! Used to heat a bowl of water for chickens, works great until one day they drank it dry. The heater has melted the spot in the case, but it still works.

Pros
  • Looks great

My betta almost cooked

watch out! Got this heater on January 20th, it was great, small, worked as advertised, heated a 5 gallon tank with no problems. 88°. Do not adjust the temperature setting in any way. I had to turn it off and buy another heater at the last minute. Luckily my little Betta survived.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Dear buyers

Unbelievable - Fish & Aquatic Animals

I used this in my 7.5 gallon shrimp tank and this is my second tank with the same issue. After a few weeks, he began buzzing, making very audible noises, and then died altogether. I managed to capture this video just as my second one was beginning to die. I hooked it up to an Inkbird controller so it couldn't do any harm, but I wouldn't trust it without it and there are very serious concerns about its longevity.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Short life in aquarium heaters and coolers

The product worked well after we installed it in our 5 gallon Betta aquarium but after only a few weeks of use it just stopped working. At first I thought it was accidentally disconnected, but when I checked it was definitely connected. He just passed out. We may have received a defective one, but it's up to you if you want to take the risk. There is always the possibility of return. I have to say that Revain has a wonderful and hassle free returns process.

Pros
  • Large selection

Paint is peeling my fish died second replacement

In theory this product could be good but I bet the paint is peeling and getting into the water resulting in my fish being accidentally killed . I couldn't figure out why the only fish in this tank died out of nowhere (I have 4 tanks and only this heater in one). I must admit that this paint is harmful and is a poor quality product. This is a replacement for the first who didn't get the temperature to the desired level. I definitely do not recommend this product if you want your fish to be…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No mold required
