They are at least half the size of the normal ones. I dont understand whats going on. I'm a runner and have been wearing Mizunos for about 10 years and just keep ordering them, I open the box and put them on and run out the door because it's just a deal for me and BAM I did it with them and PAIN! This is a waste of money. I was the same style as the older model like the prophetic wave 5, they felt like I was walking on air but they felt like another pair of Amazon branded shoes that I paid $30 for instead of $150 . As an avid runner, I am very disappointed with the wear and tear on a pair of running shoes after less than 200 miles of running. This was my first time trying Mizuno as I usually run in Nike Hoka or Brooks. A good friend of mine convinced me that I need to add Mizuno to the mix and that's the best thing to try. I bought these Mizuno Prophecy 8 pairs because I used to have 3 and 4 pairs. They were always comfortable and were great running shoes. To my surprise (I should have read the Series 7 reviews) the shoes are very, very small. I bought a size 8.5 as usual (and have done with previous Mizunos) and it didn't fit me at all. I have had Mizuno Wave Prophecy for 3-7 generations and have loved them for my plantar fasciitis prone feet! Generation 7 is by far my favorite. Now that I've run 1,500 miles and done 350 HIIT sessions in the Gen 7 shoes, they're starting to show some wear.
