To be honest, my husband installed it for me, but I wasn't there at the time. He's very good at these things and I'm all thumbs up haha. I love the way it looks and it's very strong! Nice!

Needs some work but not bad when you pick them up. The holes drilled in the bottom shelf for the towel rail weren't measured correctly so I had to drill my own. They also provided an odd amount of screws and anchors so again I had to use my own. The instructions weren't very helpful either, so there are some issues to solve for this.

If you plan on coloring be prepared to seal the ends first. The ends will soak up the paint and you will see fibers coming through the ends. But the big problem is the Midwestern wall anchors they use. If you don't line up your holes in the wall exactly with the holes in the shelves, when you put them on posts and they lean a little, they'll be tight. If you then remove (pull out) the shelf, these anchors can cause the drywall to crack and stain.

. I wasn't sure if I should try it after reading the reviews about the difficult setup. Now I regret that I didn't listen to my intuition and didn't buy these shelves. They are very pretty but when my husband installed them it was very difficult to line up the holes. Also the plastic brackets are broken so we have plastic in the wall and now we have to patch the holes and the broken drywall. What a mess! We send them back and find several shelves that are much easier to install.

Stylish shelf and hanging towel hooks is what we were looking for. However, one of the two shelves was broken when received. I contacted the supplier but they advised me to send the entire unit in for exchange. Since I only needed one shelf and didn't want to wait, I just threw out the second shelf. Overall they do their job. They look pretty decent and are easy to install. Appearance 7/10 Looks quite nice. But the woodworking could have been better. These are fantastic shelves! It comes with a paper template to match the back of the shelf so you can attach it to the wall, make sure it's level and then use marks to drill screws into the wall. The shelves are also held up by rods (they screw to the wall) which the shelf then simply slides onto. This was one of my least favorite Amazon purchases. For starters, one of the shelves had an uneven patch of bad soiling, so it was already looking bad. After that I had a heck of a lot of time to install them and was usually very comfortable. The shelves are still crooked because it's so difficult to get the metal bars on the back to line up correctly.
