No screws were used. I bought command strips and they stick perfectly to the wallpaper. But not so good on wood so I tried super glue, still didn't quite work but it's strong and strong. A few scratches on the item when they arrived. Can't wait to surprise my husband with this man cave for his birthday on November 1st!

Not the highest quality but they get the job done. For the price, a little better workmanship would be desirable. In terms of aesthetics, they are suitable for any project. Some brackets were missing. If you bought better quality new braces, they would actually look better.

I've been working with shelving for a long time and this is one of the cheapest wooden shelving I've seen. The first screw was hardly used and burst through. I used everything that came in the DIY kit and figured maybe I used an oversized screw on the first one just to separate the other two. Instead, I would recommend using masking tape to hang it on the walls.

These shelves are not top quality but they are good! You can tell the people who make them are trying to simplify the installation process. They come with a high-quality mounting mechanism and there are also small starting holes on the shelves where you should install the mounting mechanism. It doesn't take them much time, but it's nice to have. Just look carefully and you will see. I ordered 3 packs of these and I'm glad I did.

The top right front corner was chipped and the bottom left front corner was chipped. The stain is uneven and rubs off when cleaned with a damp cloth and the wood is soft. I'll fix and seal them and round off the corners to save them. I recommend just making them yourself if you have the slightest skill at carving a straight line out of wood. It was a waste of money and also I wasted my time because now I have to fix it.

Excellent Shelves. They are lightweight and easy to install. I decided not to use screws in the wall and bought (from Revain) some brass nails (usually used to decorate furniture) to attach them to the wall. I LOVE how it adds a rustic character to these already beautiful shelves. I also added some remote controlled lights on each shelf (also from Revain) to show the neat shadows in the dark. GREAT shelves, especially for the money.

Big fan of these shelves! They worked great in my space. They were easy to install but I used a drill and luckily the space I put them in was riveted and I didn't have extra heavy stuff so I didn't use anchors which would make digging difficult. a little harder, but who knows. The wood isn't very high quality but it seems to be of good quality and the fact that it's fairly light helped me not to need anchors. In fact, my roommate likes them so much that she buys them for her room!
