Its Panorama function automatically captures and blends 9 separate photos together to create one stunning photo. Control your phone camera like a professional camera, with dedicated buttons for the Shutter and Record, as well as manual ISO, Shutter and White Balance settings. Control exposure simply by dragging your finger up or down the screen. Make the Osmo Mobile Joystick work the way you want it to. Set sensitivity, invert pan or tilt, or even set it so that the gimbal can only move in specific directions. Using an optimized Bluetooth connection, the Osmo Mobile is able to detect your smart device and sync up automatically and quickly if it has been paired before, so you can get shooting faster.

Nice and cool gadget but you have to remove the case!

Definitely a good gadget for photo and video stabilization, but nobody told me (not even in the reviews) that this gadget needs your iPhone 7 without a case, why? The gadget must touch the mobile phone directly. If you save the case, the app reports an error.

2 features i love and 2 features i wish i had

features i really like - 1 - active tracking. If you love vlogging, you can customize it to follow your face. Another reason to use this feature is if you are used to keeping an eye on your child while they are playing. 2-time interval of movement. You can set different anchor points to start or end your timelapse. Features I would have liked: 1 - full 360 degree rotation. 2 - Being able to charge my phone while doing the time lapse.

If your camera has OIS, choose OSMO+ instead of OSMO Mobile.

Exchanged for a more expensive OSMO+. I had an iPhone 7 with OIS (optical image stabilization). The smartphone stabilization function competed with the OSMO gimbal system. DJI/Apple needs to develop a way to disable OIS when using OSMO Mobile. The OSMO+ video was sharper and matched the quality of the video I get from my Phantom 3 Pro drone when combining clips from each source in the post. Everything was fine for about 3 weeks - FIXED

Everything was fine for about 3 weeks then the y gimbal stopped following my movements. So if I tilt the entire device up or down, the gimbal stays locked in a straight orientation. This is WITHOUT pulling the trigger. When I use the joystick, the gimbal rotates, but without the Y-axis gimbal automatically adjusting to my movements, I'm less efficient at responding to the need to tilt up or down. Lots of problems, poor customer service.

I bought one in January 2018 and it has worked great for three months. Then the servos started overheating to the point where you couldn't hold or touch the camera arm and the unit would shut down. I took it in for warranty repair and when I got it back it worked for half a day and then it just died. No charging or trying to turn it on didn't help. Not only is it a hassle, but it also requires you to leave your phone behind.

The only downside is the DJI Go app. Every recorded video and photo is saved in the DJI Go app. To access them for editing in a third-party app, you have to upload each photo and video individually! Not only is this tedious, it also requires your phone to be connected to a Bluetooth-enabled gimbal at all times. This, in turn, completely drains your phone's battery. It's totally unnecessary! I will NEVER use the DJI app to edit or share, so I shouldn't be forced to use it. I use apps like iMovie
